No it wasn't the drift though. The guy was getting these random boosts even when he was in front of me.

Thats odd. Ill have to start paying more attention. I did notice online at sky gardens the two star guy was taking the shortcut near the finish line (I would say about 10-15 secs away) where you have to use mushrooms, but I think he just decided to fall. He would be far ahead of me afterwards.

The random boosts I have no clue about, do not think I have ever noticed that. I just like to use the fast accel guys over the full speed guys. I like to be able to zip ahead again if hit by anything, instead of slowly regaining top speed. I find that my slide turning boosts and fast accel guys give me a nice advantage.

Sadly I never get those because I am always in first place though.

Ok I finally decided yesterday to seriously try and get that star by my name and I did it. Now I am gonna try for two stars, but damn that is going to be a challenge. If anyone else has this game and wants to race let me know and Ill send ya my friend code!

Definately, maybe I can get my other friends to join us. They have alot to learn too. We used to play double dash all the time, but I was always the driver, and the other duo always lost.
